Where a gantry line fits
The ES-PRO gantry equipment catalog describes small-batch, multi-variety production, processes including zinc, copper, nickel, chromium, tin, gold and silver, and rack, barrel, vibratory and rotary configurations. The process and handling combination for your workpieces requires engineering review.
To compare handling proposals, supply these mode-specific inputs:
- Rack: a loading drawing showing fixture positions, electrical contacts and surfaces that must be protected.
- Barrel: part dimensions and unit weight, batch quantity, and restrictions on tumbling, entanglement or contact marks.
- Vibratory or rotary: ask ES-PRO to explain the proposed workpiece support and transfer arrangement, then assess it against your finish and inspection requirements.
These inputs guide engineering review; the mode names alone do not establish part suitability. For repetitive production with a relatively uniform process, compare the circular vertical equipment family.
Published configuration choices
| Scope group | Catalog provision and quotation boundary |
|---|---|
| Hoist design | Compact hoist, auxiliary braking and anti-slip tracks are described in the catalog. Confirm the usable load dimensions, weight and transfer sequence. |
| Selectable provisions | Catchment trays, drainage/dewatering arrangements and enclosed exhaust are catalog options. The quotation must identify the selected provisions and collection or exhaust interfaces. |
| Process arrangement | Agitation, piping and current-distribution arrangements are matched to the plating route. Confirm the tank schedule, chemistry and loading basis before choosing them. |
| Control and plant interfaces | Agree operating sequences, safety interlocks, electrical supply and extraction connections with the automation control engineering scope. |
Use the same confirmation fields when comparing quotations: tank material and dimensions, station count, control system, power supply, rectifier connections and extraction interfaces. Mark each item included, optional, customer supplied or pending confirmation. The catalog does not establish a standard value or supply responsibility for every project.
Engineering outputs to agree
ES-PRO's technical capability reference describes workshop layout simulation and control modules. Request the proposed layout, equipment list, tank schedule and control interfaces relevant to your line. Agree responsibility for installation, piping, electrical connections, commissioning and operator training in the project scope. Warranty, delivery and support terms require a written project proposal.
Information needed for a line quotation
Send the following with your enquiry. If a requirement is not yet fixed, state the range or the decision that needs engineering review.
- Parts: drawings or photos, substrate, maximum dimensions, weight and delicate or recessed features.
- Loading: rack or barrel preference, parts per load, loads per shift and expected product changes.
- Finish: plating sequence, target thickness and the inspection method agreed with your customer or process owner.
- Process: required stages, dwell-time windows and any existing bath specifications. Do not infer a tank sequence from a generic equipment photo.
- Site: available length, width and height; electrical supply; water, drain and extraction interfaces; maintenance access.
- Scope: new line or retrofit, existing equipment to retain, destination country and required commissioning support.
State the capacity unit, such as pieces/hour or kg/hour, together with parts or weight per batch and effective production hours. Distinguish total batch processing duration from the interval between completed loads. Include changeover and planned downtime assumptions. Ask the proposal to identify the bottleneck stage and distinguish nominal capacity from expected output under those assumptions; this family has no universal output rate.
Coordinate the supporting equipment
Plan water treatment equipment for rinse and process-water duties, and industrial baking equipment where the finishing route includes drying or curing. Their capacities and interfaces should be reviewed with the plating line.
For an overview of the supporting systems, read what equipment is needed for electroplating.

The email link identifies the equipment family and opens a fillable enquiry checklist. Attach part drawings in your email application. You can also use the contact form; include the equipment name in your message.
For supplier evaluation, ask to review a proposal drawing, a relevant loading or transfer demonstration, the control and interlock description, and proposed factory and site acceptance procedures. Confirm which evidence ES-PRO can disclose for the proposed configuration, and agree the acceptance basis before ordering.
